Job summary

Castalia Systems in Washington, DC seeks a Mid-Level Geospatial Trainer to support our client on site. You will construct an interactive course that teaches critical information and tradecraft, and you will lead geospatial mapping training to help analysts produce intelligence products.

You will work with analysts, mission partners, and customers to identify key locations and personalities in high-priority networks, delivering practical, hands-on GIS instruction using ArcGIS, Google Earth, and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of GIS experience (ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, GeoMedia PRO, or QGIS) for GEOINT in the DoD.
• 1+ year of experience leading trainings on GIS tools.
• 3+ years of experience with open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination.
• Experience creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements.
• Experience representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting strategic- and operational-level customers.
• Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases.

Responsibilities

• Train analysts on the use of GIS and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products that will support the warfighter.
• Teach aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports.
• Assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks.
• Act as a strong collaborator and mission-focused team member who is comfortable working with analysts, mission partners, and customers.
