Job summary

CSCI Consulting, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage and improve a DoD financial system and provide hands-on training across the organization. You will help ensure data accuracy, reliability, and meaningful insights to support mission success.

You will deliver training sessions, maintain system access controls, and support end-user needs while collaborating with leadership and project teams. A SECRET clearance and DoD experience are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years supporting financial systems or accounting processes within the DoD or a government organization.
• Experience with SAP-based systems (GFEBS/SAP-ERP).
• Strong computer skills incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical details clearly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for enterprise financial systems (GFEBS/SAP-ERP).
• Review and correct data issues to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and update training materials and user guides.
• Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions for staff on financial tools.
• Track system issues, updates, and resolutions with leadership and project teams.
• Monitor financial reports and KPIs to identify recurring problems.
• Support fiscal year close-out activities and new-year financial reporting.
• Manage system access requests and ensure proper training.
• Support regular system maintenance and data validation for accuracy.
