Job summary

Allied Technologies and Consulting, LLC. is seeking a Financial Support Assistant to support USAMMDA within the DHA program area. The role will focus on budget development, data analysis, and preparing briefs for senior leadership in a DoD environment.

Based in Fort Detrick, MD, the position requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach. The successful candidate will manage purchase requisitions in GFEBS, prepare financial reports, and coordinate travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline.
At least 1 year of finance or business experience.
Advanced Excel skills (intermediate level).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with DoD or government contracting preferred.
U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a NACI clearance.

Responsibilities

Support budget development and execution in a DoD environment; analyze data for funding use.
Review programmatic planning/execution reports and brief senior leadership.
Use GFEBS to initiate purchase requisitions and run monthly reports.
Prepare data-driven PowerPoint presentations with accurate data entry and formatting.
During meetings, present slides, add notes, or capture changes for post-meeting edits.
Prepare and process Travel Fund Cite Letters.
Prepare Shipping Requests and manage related paperwork.
Use Outlook to schedule meetings and execution briefs.
Demonstrate high attention to detail and communicate clearly under tight deadlines.
Participate in special projects as required.
