Job summary

CSCI Consulting seeks an Accountant / Financial Management Analyst to support DoD financial management for a Fort Bragg client in North Carolina. You will apply accounting, budgeting, and resource management expertise to improve data integrity and decision-making.

The role requires collaboration with government personnel, budget analysts, and external partners to ensure timely, accurate financial execution and compliance with federal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of accounting/financial management experience.
• Experience with DoD financial management, budgeting, or resource management preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve unmatched transactions and discrepancies.
• Investigate and clear IDoc failures within GFEBS-SA and related systems.
• Reconcile commitments and obligations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Analyze ULOs and recommend corrective actions and adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Identify root causes of processing errors and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with Budget Analysts and Program Officers to resolve issues.
• Support audits, reviews, and compliance initiatives.
