Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) at Dugway Proving Ground, UT, seeks a Field Technician to support DoD test programs. You will operate field vehicles and equipment, fuel generators, and respond to alarms while adhering to safety and PPE requirements.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; prior field-test experience is preferred. Extended hours, after-hours responses, and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in field test environments preferred.
• Availability to respond to "after hours" alarms or emergencies.
• Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
• Capable of working in field conditions.
• Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.
• A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of field vehicles.
• Operate a variety of equipment, such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
• Fuel up generators and vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
