Job summary

Stantec is seeking Facility Assessors/Inspectors for a large-scale assessment program across DoD installations in the US. This role involves conducting detailed evaluations of facility systems, requiring expertise in mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. Staff may operate under a hybrid work model, working mainly full-time while traveling as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a degree in architecture or related field, and strong technical writing and communication skills. Training will be provided for specific software as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in building systems.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience or formal trade school education.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an inventory of client facilities and classify building components.
• Perform assessments of facilities to determine physical condition.
• Document equipment during assessments using computer tablets.
