Job summary

CGI Federal in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Tester/Testing Specialist to provide hands-on software testing across integration and acceptance phases for the ELMS system. You will design test scenarios, build scripts, prepare data, and validate system behavior to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

The role requires five years of testing experience, knowledge of diverse testing types, and the ability to collaborate with analysts, developers, and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including system testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, automation testing.
• Knowledge developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools.
• Based on the nature of the work, US citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.
• Familiarity/experience with large scale DoD systems and enterprise logistics applications.
• Ability to collaborate with analysts, developers, other testers, and government stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for reporting, documentation, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide software testing experience across integration and acceptance testing phases.
• Design and execute IT software tests and evaluate results to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to system design.
• Prepare detailed test scripts, scenarios, and all required test documentation.
• Design and prepare all required test data needed to support functional, security, and performance testing.
• Analyze internal system security during testing to identify potential vulnerabilities or non compliant behaviors.
• Review test results and evaluate system behavior and outputs for conformance to design specifications.
• Support testing activities across the ELMS lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, troubleshooting, and release validation.
