Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a hands-on Mid-Level System Administrator to support a small mission-focused enclave at NSIC. You will manage Windows servers/workstations, AD, and network gear, coordinating with ISSO/ISSM to sustain cybersecurity posture.

The role requires 3–5 years of practical experience across systems and networks in secure environments, strong troubleshooting, and clear communication with government customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on system administration experience.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting managed switches and routers.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers/workstations and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot a small network enclave.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, permissions, and GPOs.
• Monitor system and network health and drive issues to resolution.
• Perform patching, updates, and routine maintenance.
• Support backup, recovery, and continuity for network systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, applications, and network connectivity.
