Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking an experienced DevSecOps engineer to architect and implement a secure, containerized CI/CD environment for a multi-tenant DoD testing platform. The role demands hands-on leadership, testing strategy, and independent work to establish end-to-end testing and security validation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) systems.
• GitLab administration and CI/CD pipeline development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD DISA STIG security standards and compliance testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish testing standards, DevSecOps practices, and security compliance processes for Java microservices on Kubernetes with RHEL 9.
• Make tooling/framework decisions; write test code, build pipelines, and harden container deployments in Harbor and Kubernetes.
• Coordinate review of program documentation with Responsible Engineers.
• Lead test design; assist in DT&E I/FAT planning, execution, and reporting.
• Be an IPT member for system recap/deployment to ensure readiness for customer acceptance tests.
• Ensure test data is collected and recorded per the approved test plan.
