Job summary

People, Technology and Processes, LLC seeks a Database Administrator to support Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. A Secret clearance is required, with Top Secret/SCI eligibility (Tier 5) for classified work.

The role involves managing enterprise databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and recoverability, with DoD 8140/8570 CE certification expected within six months. Responsibilities include administering MS-SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases, monitoring storage and performance, and supporting

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship.
Active Secret clearance; Top Secret / SCI eligibility (Tier 5 / T5R) required for classified system development.
DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M CE certification obtained within six months of appointment.

Responsibilities

Administer and support MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other Government-approved database platforms.
Manage data storage, monitor device usage, and implement measures to maintain and improve system performance.
Support database backup, archive, and recovery using Government-approved tools and scripting languages.
Continually monitor data integrity and notify the Government within two work hours of any database discrepancy.
Support RMF accreditation artifacts and eMASS package maintenance for designated systems.
