Job summary

KaylaTek seeks a Data Center Network Engineer to support unclassified and classified enterprise networks for AFNCR operations. The role is on-site at MD and requires a DoD Secret clearance, CCNA/CCNP, and Cisco DNA Center/ISE expertise. You will manage Nexus switches, F5 load balancers, RSA, HAIPEs, and be part of DR planning.

Strong telemetry, SOP development, and coordination with DISA/26th NOS are essential. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance required.
DoD 8140 IAT Level II or III baseline certifications.
CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years hands-on network engineering in secure environments.
Experience with Cisco DNA Center and ISE for policy enforcement.
Proficiency with TACLANE HAIPE encryption units.
Familiarity with RSA Authentication Manager.
US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Manage, deploy, configure, and maintain core data center hardware including switches and routers.
Maintain rack layouts, port maps, and asset tracking databases.
Utilize Cisco DNA Center and ISE for policy enforcement and device profiling.
Configure and manage Cisco Nexus switches.
Configure and manage F5 LTM/GTM and RSA Authentication Manager.
Monitor performance with SNMP/Cacti monitoring tools.
Deploy IPTV over the enterprise LAN.
Install and support TACLANE HAIPE devices to secure data-in-transit.
Implement DoD cyber measures and maintain SOPs for operations.
Coordinate with 26th NOS and DISA for outages and upgrades.
Draft ASIs and coordinate preventative maintenance.
Identify single points of failure and mitigate risks.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and on-call rotation.
