Job summary

GBL Systems Corporation, based in Camarillo, CA, seeks a Cybersecurity IT Professional to deploy and safeguard Windows and Linux systems across DoW test environments. You will implement RMF controls, conduct vulnerability management, and support incident response for field exercises and operations.

Required are a DoD 8570-aligned certification and a bachelor’s in a related field, with 5+ years in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems administration, network administration, or enterprise IT.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, ATO processes, and DoW cybersecurity requirements.
• DoD 8140/8570-aligned cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and sustain Windows and Linux systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoW policies and RMF requirements.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, patching, system hardening, and STIG compliance; support RMF and continuous monitoring.
• Monitor system availability, performance, security posture, and operational health.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, PKI, and authentication requirements.
• Support incident response, log analysis, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain configuration baselines, inventories, and system documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, Government stakeholders, and mission operators.
