Five Stones Research Corporation, Huntsville-based, seeks a Cybersecurity Specialist IAT II Intermediate to apply policy, develop artifacts, and support A&A processes in an enclave environment.

The role requires 5 years of cyber experience, DoD security clearance eligibility for Top Secret, IAT II certification, and hands-on work with security toolsets including McAfee ePolicy, ACAS and Splunk. This is an on-site full-time position with 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM or Cyber-related field with at least 5 years cyber technical experience
• Acceptable alternative: Bachelor's in non-STEM with 7+ years DoD cyber experience and knowledge demonstrated in missile defense or other complex DoD Programs/Projects
• Acceptable alternative: Associate degree in STEM/Cyber-related field with 10 years DoD cyber experience and knowledge demonstrated in cyber and missile defense related or other complex DoD Programs/Projects
• IAT II Certification prior to accepting position
• Must have technical certification or 2 years' experience with McAfee Endpoint Security, ACAS, Splunk, and/or experience implementing network/enclave/system security toolsets with experience reviewing technical assessment reports and prioritizing technical corrective actions. Must achieve certification in required tools within 6 months of position acceptance

Responsibilities

• Applies cybersecurity policy, tools, and procedures to mitigate system vulnerabilities
• Gathers, develops, and updates artifacts to facilitate system Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) processes
• Prepares artifacts and evidence for an authorization package
• Evaluates and assesses the effectiveness of security controls through testing and documentation
• Manages Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M's) in eMASS
• Submits eMASS workflows
• Applies knowledge and experience with standard cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures
• Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software cybersecurity problems pertaining to the enclave environment
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclave security related goals
• Works under general supervision and typically reports to network manager / government cyber manager
