Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform malware analysis and incident handling.
• Draft and implement security incident response policies.
• Analyze malware discovered in DoD intrusions.
• Develop and release Government‑approved analysis findings in reports.
• Identify unique indicators from malware artifacts.
• Collaborate with anti‑virus vendors for malware submissions.
• Extract malicious files from digital media.
• Identify and document adversarial activities.
• Develop metrics and trending reports of malicious activity.
• Conduct log and system analysis.
• Update DoD shared situational awareness mechanisms.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Deliver MD5 hash updates for signature repository.
