Job summary

Defense Unicorns is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the RMF process and facilitate a continuous Authority to Operate (cATO) for software systems. In this role, you will develop cybersecurity policies, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience within the DoD environment, a strong grasp of NIST-800 standards, and excellent problem-solving skills. This position is remote within the USA, and compensation ranges from $123,250 to $166,750 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering within the DoD.
• Knowledge of NIST-800 standards and experience achieving accreditation.
• Analytical skills to assess complex systems and identify security risks.
