Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires DoD cybersecurity expertise, RMF, and secure PKI-enabled capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, and encryption.

You will ensure compliance with DoD/AF cybersecurity policies, including DoDI 8500.01 and AFI 17-130, and participate in certification and accreditation activities, risk management, and system audits to protect mission-critical

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cyber security or information assurance, including DoD environment.
• Certification and accreditation (C&A), assessment and authorization (A&A), and RMF experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and analysis using automated tools and vulnerability management systems.
• Knowledge of intrusion prevention and network access control tools/systems.
• Understanding of DoD/air force security standards (DIACAP, FISMA, NIST, OMB).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all system and application deliverables meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force C&A/A&A/RMF policies.
• Support PKI-related capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
• Communicate security requirements with stakeholders across levels of the organization.
