Davis Defense Group, Inc. is actively seeking a Cyber Security Analyst, Journeyman (PMA 271) to support DoD cyber operations on site at Patuxent River, MD.

The role emphasizes RMF compliance, system hardening, and collaboration with senior IT leadership to ensure mission-ready cybersecurity readiness. The incumbent will plan, implement, and monitor protection measures for networks and information assets, assist in ATO documentation, and work within TACAMO/NC3 frameworks to uphold DoD cyber

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or supplemental experience required.
• Minimum 3 years combined DoD cybersecurity duties.
• DoD 8140 IAM II/IAT II within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for protecting computer networks and information.
• Assist with documentation supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
• Support RMF and NIST policy compliance across HW, SW, and facilities.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with ISSM and government stakeholders on system security engineering.
