Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring an Information Security Risk Specialist to assess cyber risks for DoD ecosystems, develop mitigation plans, and guide secure cloud and DevSecOps implementations. You will collaborate with DoD system owners, admins, and engineers to translate security concepts into actionable steps.

The role requires DoD experience, RMF/A&A familiarity, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570 Level II Security+ within 30 days. TS clearance is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a professional IT environment.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity supporting DoD environments.
• Experience with ATO packages, performing A&A and RMF, and risk assessments for DoD systems hosted in AWS, Azure, or hybrid clouds.

Responsibilities

• Identify cyber risks, analyze policies, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Guide clients through remediation plans with presentations and white papers.
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and system owners to ensure cybersecurity resilience.
