Job summary

Leidos is seeking an early to mid-career Cyber Security Specialist to support Lackland AFB security posture in San Antonio, TX. You will help maintain RMF artifacts and assist with ATO activities. Responsibilities include implementing DoD/Air Force controls, coordinating with owners and engineers, and tracking incidents.

You will work with government stakeholders to meet cybersecurity requirements. This role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD RMF experience, and relevant certifications; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD RMF experience and knowledge of ATO processes.
• Experience with RMF artifacts in eMASS or similar tools.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity compliance efforts across assigned systems and programs.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoD and Air Force requirements.
• Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and program teams to support Authority to Operate (ATO) activities.
• Participate in Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, including documentation development and maintenance.
• Monitor system configurations and identify changes that may impact security compliance.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to verify adherence to established security policies and procedures.
• Assist with tracking, documenting, and reporting cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Support risk assessments and help identify remediation actions for security findings.
• Maintain RMF artifacts within eMASS and other cybersecurity management tools.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to support mission objectives and cybersecurity requirements.
