Job summary

Quantech Services Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a senior-cost analyst to join a team of analysts and subject matter experts on a variety of DoD programs.

You will develop life cycle cost estimates, analyze data with regression models, and collaborate across functions to provide cost insights for program managers.

Requirements include DoD-related cost analysis experience, strong data skills, and at least 5 years in quantitative analysis with a TS clearance. On-site work in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Cost analysis experience or relevant experience in quantitative analysis positions.
• Proficient in analyzing datasets and developing statistical models.
• Technical fast learner able to gather data from multiple teams and translate it into cost impacts.
• Experienced problem solver in ambiguous environments with cross-functional cost discussions.
• Team player able to manage multiple projects and take direction from multiple sources.
• Experience with data science, machine learning, visualization and BI tools is a plus.
• Experience with Agile Software Development and SWP programs.
• Colorado Springs, CO on-site requirement with DoD experience and TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of Quantech cost analysts and SMEs on a variety of projects.
• Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs.
• Analyze historical data and develop cost estimating relationships using regression analysis.
• Understand technology trends and analyze impact on cost.
• Interview functional specialists to support estimating methodology development.
• Develop risk distributions for cost driver variables and cost estimating relationship equations.
• Analyze program schedules and quantify schedule uncertainty.
• Study and develop metrics for complex modern software development programs.
• Build complex spreadsheet-based program cost models used as decision tools.
• Apply statistics concepts to quantify probability of success for budgets and schedules.
