Job summary

OpenTalent seeks a Senior Engineer/IT Staff Member (Cybersecurity) to oversee DoD cybersecurity compliance for microgrid control systems and related facilities. You will guide RMF/STIG implementation, device selection, and secure configurations while coordinating with ERP security and government stakeholders.

Requires 5+ years securing high-assurance systems, DoD RMF experience, and willingness to travel to Puerto Rico for field testing.

Qualifications

• Current DoD 8570 IAM II certification or government mapping accepted.
• 5+ years securing DoD/high-assurance systems with RMF processes.
• Experience with DISA STIGs/SRGs, vulnerability scanning, hardening.
• Travel to Puerto Rico for field testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity interpretation and compliance for applicable control-system requirements.
• Coordinate STIG/SRG applicability, interconnection schedules, protection-of-information-at-rest.
• Review devices, OS, accounts, services, ports, logging, backups, patching, and evidence.
• Coordinate with ERP CMMC processes, OEMs, and field personnel for compliance.
• Lead or witness cybersecurity tests, scans, and retesting with final evidence packets.
• Ensure proper handling of FCI/CUI and approved use of contractor-owned systems.
