Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to safeguard cloud-based systems, maintain RMF/JSIG accreditation, and support continuous monitoring for government programs. You will collaborate with security engineering, DevOps, and IT operations to keep systems compliant as they evolve.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in an ISSO/security role, DoD 8570 Level II certification, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ISSO or equivalent security experience in RMF/JSIG/ICD 503.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+), or DoD 8140 equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security posture and RMF/JSIG accreditation across cloud-based systems.
• Develop and validate RMF/JSIG documentation packages for ATO and audits.
• Implement security controls and ensure STIG/CIS benchmarking compliance.
• Coordinate with system admins, security engineers, and DevOps on security changes.
• Perform incident handling and escalate recovery actions when needed.
• Review audit logs and monitor for anomalies and insider risk.
