Job summary

Serco Inc. in El Paso, Texas, is seeking a Supply Technician to support U.S. Army command post modernization with logistics and procurement expertise.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation for government contracts. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, a relevant degree and logistics experience, and willingness to travel up to 75%. This position emphasizes efficient warehousing, inventory control, and adherence to government

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of logistics experience or
• Associate Degree with 10 years of logistics experience.
• Experience with government logistics and procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience using COTS and/or government logistics/inventory databases.
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint MRP.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Research suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
• May create purchase orders for acquisition of materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients for on-time delivery.
• Inspect goods on delivery and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to efficient procurement and delivery for government client.
• Maintain warehouse and inventory operations.
• Work under supervision and report to a supervisor.
