RTX is seeking a Senior System Administrator based in Tewksbury, MA to support Raytheon Collateral Programs. You will join a fast-paced team and resolve complex IT issues across hardware and operating systems, in collaboration with Cybersecurity professionals.

The role includes after-hours maintenance and potential lifting of hardware. The position requires DoD clearance eligibility, US citizenship, and DoDD 8140/8570 certifications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

Responsibilities

• Support Raytheon Collateral Programs as a Senior System Administrator.
• Resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and may require after-hour maintenance and on-call support.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds for hardware installations.
