Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 6+ years of aerospace/defense experience.
• Proficiency with FEMAP, NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
• Mastery of structural analysis, FEA, and high-strength materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead multidisciplinary projects.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Apply physics to engineering problems to quantify performance and derive subsystem requirements.
• Assess structural viability using calculations, FEA, fatigue and damage-tolerance methods.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Document analyses and engineering results; develop engineering reports.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to standards and training materials.
