Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - DoD Security Clearance in Gilbert, AZ. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, and respond to security-related concerns at an aerospace and defense location.

The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site procedures. A DoD Secret clearance and a high school diploma are required; CPR/First Aid and alarm panel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professional, calm problem-solving.
