Job summary

BB&E is a dynamic engineering and consulting firm seeking a Community Planner to support the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron on-site at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. The role focuses on planning, design, documentation, and implementation of installation community planning concepts for DoD facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess U.S. citizenship, DoD Secret clearance, and solid proficiency in MS Office applications to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences while working independently and as

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Knowledge: professional knowledge of engineering/planning concepts, standards, methods, and techniques to apply theories and concepts to installation community planning.
• Strong communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Software: proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Self-Starter: highly motivated with the ability to solve problems and function as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, records and manage processes and documentation; negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations where proposals involve substantial resources.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout the missile field on paved and gravel roads.
