Synertex LLC seeks an experienced Budget Analyst to support Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (HQ PACAF) with budget formulation, execution, forecasting, and financial management for PACAF, Joint Staff, and Combatant Command exercises across the USINDOPACOM area.

The Budget Analyst will manage exercise funding, develop forecasts, monitor execution against budgets, identify funding shortfalls, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree OR 24 semester hours with 2 years related experience.
• 5+ years of recent DoD experience in budgeting/financial management.
• Experience building/maintaining complex Budget/Man-Day Trackers.
• Experience managing expenses against budgets/BOGEYs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong financial analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with military leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Budget and Man-Day Trackers for exercises.
• Perform budget formulation and execution for PACAF, Joint Staff, and Combatant Command exercises.
• Create CY+3 forecasts and analyze spending trends.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and identify shortfalls.
• Prepare Unfunded Requirements (UFRs) and funding actions.
• Monitor obligations, expenditures, and funding documents for accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, burn-rate tracking, and forecasting.
• Prepare funding documents (MIPRs, funding authorizations, Fund Cite Letters).
• Review Open Document Listings (ODLs) and provide financial guidance.
• Prepare financial briefings and senior-leader decision papers.
• Support financial planning during exercise conferences and reviews.
