Job summary

Seventh Dimension LLC is seeking a DOD Budget Analyst to provide on-site financial management support for Naval Special Warfare Group One under MSOFS 2.0. Responsibilities include budget planning, execution monitoring, and fiscal compliance while delivering data-driven financial recommendations.

The role requires a Secret clearance, DoD budgeting experience, and ability to work on a military installation. Travel up to 10% may be necessary. On-site in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 4+ years of DoD budget planning/formulation experience.
• Must qualify as Financial Manager per DoD FM Certification Handbook.
• Experience with military organizations and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain installation access and work on a military site.
• Participation in required Government training and security protocols.
• Travel up to 10% as job requires.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and multi-year spending plans.
• Support budget submissions and resource planning.
• Monitor budget execution and spending rates.
• Identify funding surpluses, shortfalls, and risks.
• Analyze financial data and present leadership recommendations.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc budget reports.
• Compile data from DoD financial systems and templates.
• Develop budget exhibits and justification documents.
• Review funding requests for fiscal law compliance.
• Assist in post-award meetings and program coordination.
