Job summary
Davidson-Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master in Colorado Springs, CO to lead Agile teams and drive Scrum ceremonies. You will coach teams, facilitate planning and reviews, and help remove impediments while aligning with program leadership.
The role requires 3-7 years of Agile experience, strong Scrum knowledge, and effective communication with engineers, leadership, and government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of Agile software development experience.
- Demonstrated Scrum Master experience for software or systems engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Lean principles.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing team dependencies, risks and delivery commitments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile development teams.
- Facilitate daily Scrum, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
- Promote self-organization, transparency and collaboration within teams.
- Identify and remove impediments and coordinate with leadership as needed.
- Maintain healthy, prioritized product backlogs with Product Owners.
- Monitor sprint progress, velocity, and other Agile metrics.
- Coordinate dependencies across software, systems engineering, and test teams.
- Prepare for customer meetings and program reviews as required.
