Our Sales team helps the world's largest enterprises leverage data to solve complex challenges impacting businesses, communities, and lives. We offer a platform with Data and Analytics technology across On-Premises, Public Cloud, and Hybrid environments, and are currently executing a strategic transformation.

The Cloudera Public Sector sales team seeks a cleared Enterprise Account Executive for 4th Estate and Department of Defense accounts. You will develop detailed sales and marketing plans, maximize sales opportunities, and foster account growth to meet revenue goals.

As a Senior Federal Account Executive, you will:

  1. Develop and implement strategic business plans for your territory, identifying key customers and aligning Cloudera's solutions with their needs.
  2. Understand customer organizational structures to achieve alignment.
  3. Maintain accurate forecasts, create pipelines, deliver quarterly revenue, and support sales enablement.
  4. Coach partners and utilize Cloudera resources to support opportunities and build capacity.
  5. Create detailed sales/marketing plans and forecasts.
  6. Manage time effectively and develop call plans.
  7. Monitor competitors and respond promptly.
  8. Build a strong network and generate referrals.

We're excited about you if you have:

  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret or Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance (desired).
  • 7-10 years of successful enterprise software sales experience.

Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Big Data, Open Source Applications, Enterprise Application Integration, Database, or Business Intelligence software concepts. A BA/BS or equivalent educational background is required.
