Job summary

BOK Financial in Tulsa seeks a detail-oriented professional to analyze commitments for new, renewed and amended credit transactions. You will determine required documentation to establish binding contracts, secure liens, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

You will review documentation for closed loans and track exceptions. You will collaborate with lending staff, build relationships with vendors and internal departments, and manage closing checklists, approvals, and follow-ups

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business and 2–3 years of related experience in Commercial Lending, Collateral or Loan Operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan worksheets for proposed new loan transactions, determine all necessary documentation required for each transaction, and establish a comprehensive closing checklist.
• Ensure proper approval of loans and adherence to policies; enter all follow-ups and exceptions into the tracking system with appropriate tickler dates through the Collateral Management System.
• Prepare or audit complex loans, ensuring proper notes, security agreements, loan agreements, mortgages, disclosures, resolutions, etc., as required for execution at loan closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal departments to keep loans on track, while resolving any outstanding issues.
• Keep vendors accountable by deadline, place orders, manage reporting, and send reminders if vendors are overdue.

Job Description

Primarily responsible for analyzing commitments for new, renewed and amended credit transactions for complex loan types in order to determine the documentation required to establish a legally binding contract with the borrower, secure a perfected lien against all intended collateral, and comply with policies and regulations. Review documentation for closed and funded loans to ensure the required documentation has been obtained and track exceptions found. Advise lending staff of documentation issues and ensure proper approval of commitments.
