As a Document Services Clerk, you will provide document administrative services for a designated location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate high-volume copiers, printers, and document imaging equipment.
- Handle digital files, including preparation, formatting, and troubleshooting for print jobs.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate and professional output.
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide guidance on print options, and resolve service issues.
- Stock, order and maintain inventory of paper, toner, and other supplies, and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Follow production processes for cutting, binding, laminating, and finishing printed materials.
- Prioritize and manage multiple print requests according to urgency and complexity.
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail, and courier packages
- Occasionally work extended hours or weekends to meet operational needs.
- Order and stock toner and copy paper to maintain inventory at/near devices
- Escort shredding vendor and FM vendors as needed or required.
- Assist with the provisioning of shredding consoles or extra services as required.
- Volume and site reporting as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or GED required and a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Prior Customer Service and document services experience preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Familiarity with Printer/Copier Machinery is a must. Must be able to operate machinery, change toner cartridges etc.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.
- Warm and engaging demeanor. Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products). Familiar with a variety of file types such as TIFF, JPEG, PDF, MS Word and Excel. Ability to work with handheld mobile technologies and applications
- Ability to work in multiple software platforms and learn and retain technical software applications quickly.
- Good organizational skills. Ability to use computer systems to track and report on requests received and status of completion.
- Must work well under pressure with multiple deadlines and demonstrate a proactive approach to routine and non-routine occurrences.
- Ability to work flexible work schedules based on business need.
- May need to be physically able to lift and move 30-40 boxes and operate a two-wheel dolly.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Highly adaptable and flexible.
- Physical ability to assist with document services operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.
