Join to apply for the Document Control Specialist- WMATA role at Cornerstone Concilium, Inc.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support capital and non-capital projects by applying appropriate and proper electronic document archiving procedures;
  • Create and maintain project files;
  • Follow the WMATA file naming convention;
  • Assist WMATA and consultant staff in retrieving needed documents from electronic file archives;
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure digital files are complete, legible, correctly oriented, named consistently with WMATA conventions, and archived according to WMATA's directory structure;
  • Scan hard copies of historical documents into digital format and save them in the appropriate digital folders following WMATA's file structure;
  • Maintain records for as-built, design, standard, as-is drawings, and contract close-out documents per INFR policies;
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and Digital Modernization department for project close-out and document onboarding from PMSS to WMATA repository;
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the WMATA Task Manager.
Background And Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or three (3) years of relevant experience if no degree;
  • At least three (3) years of experience with construction or document management, including project submittals, RFIs, etc.;
  • Experience with Construction Management Applications (e.g., Procore, Prolog);
  • Experience with document and file management, both hard copy and digital;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Experience performing quality control checks;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with secure and sensitive contract documents, reports, and plans;
  • Familiarity with operational procedures preparation;
  • Experience with eBuilder, Procore, or similar applications.
