Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Quality Documentation Specialist to manage the QCBD and drive engineering change orders for SOPs and manufacturing specifications. You will support audit readiness, regulatory reviews, and training records, ensuring the QMS remains current and compliant.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Quality team to address non-conformances, OOS events, and regulatory inquiries while maintaining documentation accuracy across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field.
• Prior successful work experience, preferably in a professional or technical environment.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic document control system, including all modules.
• Create engineering change orders for Manufacturing Specifications and SOPs and route for approval.
• Monitor calibration status of manufacturing and test equipment.
• Maintain the Employee Training Requirements & Records.
• Review Quality Standards and Regulations (e.g., ISO 13485:2016) and update QMS documents.
• Revise and update SOPs and other quality documents as needed for audits or investigations.
• Assist the Quality Manager in audits and failure investigations (non-conformances, OOS, complaints).
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and certifications.
• Support the Quality department during customer and regulatory audits and on special projects.

This role is responsible for managing the Quality Document Management System (QCBD). This includes processing Engineering Change Orders for Manufacturing Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures, Corrective & Preventive Actions, non-conformances & OOS, and Quality & Regulatory Reports. Will support the Quality department during customer and regulatory audits and work on special projects as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain an electronic document control system, including all its modules.
• Create engineering change orders for Manufacturing Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and route for approval
• Monitor manufacturing and test equipment calibration status
• Maintain the Employee Training Requirements & Records
• Review current Quality Standards and Regulations, such as ISO 13485:2016, and incorporate any new requirements into the QMS documents
• Revise and update SOPs and other quality documents as necessary to ensure accuracy and relevance, or because of audits or failure investigations
• Assist the Quality Manager in handling customer and regulatory audits.
• Assist the Quality Manager in failure investigations (Non-conformances, OOS, complaints)
• Assist the Quality Manager with regulatory inquiries and certifications
• Support the Quality department during customer and regulatory audits and work on special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for a college degree.
• Prior successful work experience, preferably in a professional or technical environment.
