Job summary

Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an Associate Document Specialist for the 1st shift to perform document control and support training records in a cGMP environment. The role involves issuing controlled documents, maintaining records, and supporting the training record-keeping process.

Responsibilities include monitoring the document control system, assisting with system validation, drafting procedures, and providing requested documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and one year of technical education in quality assurance or related discipline.
• Two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Issue controlled documents including procedures, batch records, analysis reports, logbooks, and laboratory notebooks.
• Monitor the document control system, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assist with implementation, configuration and validation of document control system.
• Operate in a cGMP (21 CFR – Parts 11, 210 & 211) environment ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices and regulations.
• Support record retention activities and document collaboration with owners.
• Assist with drafting Document Control procedures and training employees on the document control application.
• Prepare reports and perform clerical duties for the Document Control area.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education
