Job summary

Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an Associate Document Specialist – 1st Shift to join the Quality Assurance team. The role focuses on controlling and archiving documents, batch records, analysis reports, and laboratory notebooks in a cGMP environment.

The successful candidate will maintain document control systems, support training records, and contribute to compliance with 21 CFR Parts 11, 210 & 211.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and one year of technical education in quality assurance or related discipline or the equivalent.
• Two years of related work experience

Responsibilities

• Issues controlled documents including procedures, batch records, analysis reports, logbooks, and laboratory notebooks in a timely manner per schedule.
• Provides controlled document copies to points of usage.
• Files product batch records, logbooks, and laboratory notebooks for record retention.
• Assists with corporate record retention activities, including staging records and ensuring logs are complete and accurate.
