Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a Document Control and Training Specialist to support the accuracy and compliance of quality documentation and training initiatives. You will manage the Cloud PLM change control process, train staff, and ensure timely delivery of QA records and reports.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of related experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a solid understanding of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General understanding of Document Control requirements and ISO 13485 / 21 CFR 820.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the change control system (Cloud PLM): review, routing, assess training impact, release change orders.
  • Assist with Cloud PLM software training and support other training activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to support business needs.
  • Provide timely problem-solving and issue resolution for customers.
  • Support Quality during internal and external audits.
  • Scan, archive, retrieve, and maintain quality documents and records.
  • Issue and manage controlled and uncontrolled documentation.
  • Maintain service records across departments.
  • Prepare document reproduction requests and ensure proper distribution.
  • Maintain external standards per SOPs.
  • Generate Quality Assurance reports as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Document Control and Training Specialist, you will be at the center of key quality processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to manage documentation, support training initiatives, and help drive operational excellence. Where You Come In

What Makes You Successful
  • You are able to successfully perform the essential functions of this role with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You have 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • You use critical thinking skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • You have a general understanding of Document Control requirements and processes, including ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 standards.
  • You bring strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills to effectively support cross-functional teams.

Experience and Education Requirements
  • Typically requires 0- 2 years of related experience and a High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
