Job summary

Bank of America in the United States is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Documentation Specialist to prepare, review, and validate loan documents in accordance with policies and procedures. Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
  • Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and problem‑solving ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, reviews, and validates loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Identifies documentation discrepancies, researches potential solutions, and takes appropriate action to resolve or elevate issues
  • Ensures the timely delivery of documents while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy
  • Works independently to research loan and documentation‑related questions and communicates findings clearly to business partners
  • Partners with line of business contacts, vendors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve documentation matters
  • Manages multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and appropriate documentation of work performed
  • Applies sound judgment and escalates complex, unclear, or higher‑risk matters through the appropriate channels
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce preventable re‑work and improve documentation quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Supports team meetings, training, quality reviews, and process‑improvement activities as needed
  • Maintains awareness of applicable procedures and requirements and incorporates changes into daily work
