Job description

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director

Touro University Nevada (TUN) seeks an innovative and entrepreneurial leader to serve as its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director. The Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the DPT program. The School of Physical Therapy at TUN prepares graduates to become sensitive, ethical, and reflective physical therapists who provide their patients, clients, and communities with evidence-based, interprofessional rehabilitative care including education, prevention, and wellness services. The School of Physical Therapy includes 9 full‑time faculty who are all clinical specialists, as well as two full‑time administrative assistants. The DPT program’s enrollment has been very stable over the past several years and has a class of 40 students in each of its three years. The program runs year‑round in three 16‑week terms with integrated clinicals. The program is in‑person and not hybrid. Individuals who are particularly strong in curriculum innovation will be a great fit for the position given a desire to par down the program’s overall length. The next Director will have full support from the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services, who previously held this position.
