Job summary

Turnkey is seeking a solo-driven Docs Lead to own the entire docs surface from day one, with no committee and no bureaucracy. You’ll build a world-class developer documentation function for APIs and SDKs, ensuring content is accurate, useful, and machine-readable.

You’ll align closely with engineering to ship docs alongside features, craft real code examples, and shape documentation for LLM and agent use. This role emphasizes autonomy, structure, and forward-thinking tooling.

Qualifications

• Own the docs surface end-to-end with minimal governance and high autonomy.
• Read and write code well enough to craft real, usable examples.
• Be exceptionally structured to organize a sprawling docs surface.
• Proactively shape documentation for LLM interaction and agent access APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire docs surface: audit, restructure, and continuously improve content.
• Write and maintain reference docs, guides, and code examples across the API and SDK.
• Build systems and standards for docs as the product scales.
• Partner with engineering to ship docs alongside features, not after.
• Develop code examples that are accurate and useful to developers.
• Think about how LLMs and agents interact with Turnkey's docs for machine readability.
