Job Title: Dockworker Full-Time with CDL

Job Summary:

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused individual to join our logistics team as a full-time Dockworker with a CDL. In this role, you will ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently to be delivered on time and in good condition to our customers. Responsibilities include operating powered warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors will be used to maneuver vehicles safely, even in tight spaces. Additionally, you may need to operate a tractor and trailer to deliver or pick up freight from customers, maintaining a positive, safety-focused, and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
2. Print BOLs for daily deliveries.
3. Process and palletize damaged merchandise and RTV items.
4. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
5. Maintain and care for dock equipment.
6. Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
7. Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
8. Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
9. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
10. Adhere to all transportation regulations and safety protocols.
11. Maintain logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions.
12. Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and issues.

Qualifications:

• Forklift operator certification
• Excellent customer service and dedication
• Valid Class A CDL in the resident state
• Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements
• At least 21 years old
• Meet all DOT and company requirements
• Ability to perform essential job functions safely
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
