Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to join our Carteret, NJ team. You will safely load and unload freight on trailers and verify related documentation, with priority on safety and efficiency.

The role prefers forklift experience, requires clear communication in English, and offers weekly pay, a $22.75 hourly rate rising to $23.75 after 12 months, and a strong benefits package including a 401(k) with company match and annual profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.
• Adherence to safety rules and equipment operation standards.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport.
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations.
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
• Operating with a customer service first mentality.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to join our team in Carteret, NJ. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.
