Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform duties and complete shipping documents.
• Forklift certification preferred and hazmat training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Operate dock tools and secure freight, maintaining straps and dunnage.
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed.
• Verify shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Follow bill and quality control procedures to ensure timely, claims-free shipments.
• Log shortages and damages to freight and maintain a safe work area.
