Job summary

Deutsche Post is hiring a Dockworker in Coppell, TX to support warehouse operations for incoming and outgoing shipments. The role focuses on accurate handling, sorting, packing, loading, unloading, and documenting shipments while maintaining safety and following company procedures.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum 18 years of age, and a high school diploma or GED. You may operate a forklift and help train teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record meeting Driving Privileges standards.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Under tight deadlines, sorts, packs, loads, and unloads shipments.
• Pal­letizes and separates freight and documents for shipping.
• Prepares all delivery material for shipment.
• Operates a scanner to record shipping information for packages.
• Operates a forklift as needed.
• Reports any security breaches or unusual events to supervisor immediately.
• Maintains timely attendance and follows safety procedures.
• Assists supervisor with orienting, training, and checking others’ work.
