Job Description

Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers, transporting cargo, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other freight handling equipment. They must operate mobile technology efficiently and complete all required paperwork. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.

Responsibilities

1. Operate mobile technology.
2. Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment.
3. Load and unload trailers.
4. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
5. Complete all required paperwork.

Requirements

1. High School Diploma / GED required.
2. At least one year of LTL forklift experience for consideration for the full-time position. Without this experience, apply for the part-time posting.
3. Start as a casual dock employee during training, approximately 3 weeks, until passing a yard skills test.
4. Pass pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
5. Availability to work days, nights, and weekends, as the facility operates 24/7.

1. Wages are based on Teamster Union Scale, higher than most carriers, with overtime pay after 8 hours/day.

Other Details
