Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a forklift driver to join our Memphis, TN warehouse operations. You will operate forklifts, load/unload, maintain inventory records, and help keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Candidates should have at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and pass internal certification. This role requires physical effort and teamwork, with exposure to dusty, hot or cold conditions; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience or related equipment operation.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure forklift operation is performed safely at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

They should also have strong attention to detail, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have good communication skills.
