Requirements include at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass internal certification, and physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs with team lifting when needed. Work may occur in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Inspect forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Load and unload materials onto trucks or storage areas.
  • Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Operate forklift safely and keep work area clean and organized.
  • Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

They should also have strong attention to detail, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have good communication skills. Additionally, physical strength and stamina may be required as the job may involve lifting and moving heavy materials and goods.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesInspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible mannerMaintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with other warehouse tasks as neededRequirementsAt least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipmentHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceAbility to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety proceduresAble to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditionsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hearThe employee may frequently stand on their feetThe employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 50lbs.
