Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a Docketing Specialist for The Hub, our remote-first group. This role allows remote work with quarterly meetings at a Fish office, and requires you to review USPTO and foreign patent documents and manage large volumes with high accuracy.

You will monitor deadlines, ensure proper updates in the docketing system, and perform quality auditing of matters. 3+ years IP docketing and FoundationIP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years US and/or Foreign IP patent docketing experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patent docketing processes.
• Ability to identify issues and proactively solve them.
• Professional conduct, service-oriented attitude, and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and circumstances.
• Remote-first role with quarterly office meetings.

Responsibilities

Hub employees work primarily from home with no expectation of a regular in-office presence. While this role is remote first it does require candidates to be commutable to a Fish office for quarterly team meetings.

How Will You Make a Difference?

• Accurately review and process USPTO and foreign patent documents and client-related correspondence in the firm’s document intake and docketing system according to established procedures.

• Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors including education, experience, skills, professional background, overall qualifications, and location.
• In Minneapolis, the estimated starting pay is $30.26 - $37.95 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $59,000 - $74,000 annually.
• In Boston, the estimated starting pay is $32.41 - $40.65 per hour (based on a 35-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $59,000 - $74,000 annually.
