Job summary

Carlile Transportation is seeking a Dock Worker for the swing shift in Anchorage, AK. You will load and unload containers, verify POs and BOLs, and prepare shipments while strictly following HSSE policies to ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in daily operations, with a strong focus on documentation and quality control for incoming and outgoing freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and in compliance with HSSE policies and procedures
• Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved
• Load/unload containers, lift materials, verify and receive POs and BOLs, count and label
• Pack and/or ship materials in compliance with DOT and Carlile policies and procedures
• Consolidate boxes and pallets for shipment
• Note damaged freight, record on BOL and photograph
• Maintain housekeeping standards with care and custody of materials
• Prepare and prioritize orders for shipment with delivery documents
• Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
